Have you ever felt a sudden,\u00a0 unexpected breeze in your face?\u00a0 If you are in the Los Angeles area on\u00a0 a Friday night when it happened then chances are it was Crenshaw High School’s DeAnthony Thomas going by on his way to another touchdown.\u00a0 Thomas is what happens when speed meets smooth and they take a walk down Tenacious Boulevard.\u00a0 Thomas can pick em up and put them down like few others in Class of 2011.\u00a0 As a result,\u00a0 Crenshaw High School is never out of a football game.\u00a0 Thomas makes contributions all over the field.\u00a0 He’s on offense, he’s on defense and he’s in the return game much to the opponent’s chagrin.\u00a0\u00a0 Thomas’ speed is also documented.\u00a0 He’s one of the top sprinters in the country with times of 10.67 in the 100 and 21.48 in the 200 but have you ever seen a track guy that can hit?\u00a0\u00a0 Click on his video and you just saw one.\u00a0 Thomas will put his hat on you at subway train speeds, sending you to the sidelines to\u00a0 visit the student trainer.\u00a0 He’s a well sought after prospect with both L.A. schools (USC and UCLA) making offers along with Cal, Arizona and Florida (because they, for some reason,\u00a0 need more speed).\u00a0\u00a0 Thomas will be a major headache for opponents this year once again\u00a0 the “Black Mamba”, as he is known, patrols the gridiron looking to strike his prey.<\/p>\n
